Auto Express have created a couple of images showing what they expect the new Epiq to look like. What do you think?
Skoda has shared more about its upcoming all-electric compact SUV, the Skoda Epiq, and it's shaping up to be a smart, affordable addition to the brand’s growing EV lineup.
The Epiq will sit below the Enyaq in Skoda’s electric range and is expected to launch in 2025 with a starting price of around €25,000. Designed for everyday usability, the Epiq promises a practical interior, clean minimalist styling, and an electric range of up to 248 miles (400km)—more than enough for most daily driving needs.
Although Skoda is keeping the final design under wraps, the production version is expected to remain close to the concept revealed earlier this year. It will be built on the MEB Entry platform, which it shares with future models from VW and Cupra, and will be front-wheel drive only—helping to keep costs low and efficiency high.
Inside, the Epiq will likely feature Skoda’s latest tech, smart storage touches, and a focus on simplicity and value. It’s also expected to be the first Skoda EV built in Spain, as part of the Volkswagen Group’s joint production plans for compact EVs.
The Epiq is a key part of Skoda’s strategy to roll out six new electric models by 2026—and for many, it could be the perfect first EV: compact, capable, and affordable.
